AIR, Inc. (Aviation Information Resources, Inc.) is a Career Information Resource company for pilots who are on an airline pilot career track. We work with military pilots transitioning to the civilian sector, general aviation, corporate, and commuter pilots seeking
to get a job with an airline, from regional to major. 70% of the pilots hired in 1999 were AIR, Inc. members. A wide variety of products and services are available to both job seekers and employers. AIR, Inc.'s owner and President, Kit Darby employs 30 full time employees and 30 part time employees, dedicated to personally serving you throughout your job search. History Timeline Kit Darby, owner and President of AIR, Inc. (B-757/767 Captain for United Airlines), entered into a partnership with FAPA in 1983. FAPA, Future Aviation Professionals of America, was owned by Louis Smith. Kit Darby owned one-third of FAPA and worked in the capacity of Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales. During Darby's tenure employment with FAPA, he brought the company from near bankruptcy to $3.6M in annual sales, started the Career Day seminar series, authored and published numerous books including the Annual Salary Survey, and Simulator Training Manual. |
